Perpetual State of Flux |
After nearly 35 years into this life, I'm determined to change my point of view. Of course, this might be the direct result of these pregnancy hormones. These are the stories and observations of a recovering cynic. Just remember, I never said I was cured. |
Today I went to see my doctor for my 29 week check-up. I also had another ultrasound as my anatomy scan at 20 weeks revealed that our little guy had a slightly enlarged kidney. At that time, we were told not to worry as this was quite common in baby boys who tend to be (surprise, surprise) more lazy than girls and hold their urine longer than the opposite sex. Still, they wanted to check things out in the seven month.
I love seeing scans of the baby. One blurry black and white image and I’m reduced to a marshmallow.
Anyway, things are looking good and based on their best guess (which is really all they can tell you) he is weighing in around 3lbs 10 ounces which is apparently put him in the 67th percentile.
